Nothing much to go on initially for you super sleuths, but we do have what appears to be a vault in Gringotts. Not wholly surprising since Bill and Fleur have been working there – a visit to Gringotts has been pretty much predicted by us since the end of HBP. Yawn. Also looks like a Nagini snowglobe on the UK version, so perhaps she’s a horcrux after all. Or, at the very least, a wintery, festive fireplace ornament. Other things of note are Dobby (?) on Harry’s back, weilding a sword and a mysterious pouch around Harry’s neck.

All in all, they’re pretty hideous :D The UK adult cover looks like the way to go as usual. The others’ colour schemes brings to mind that fake plastic vomit you can buy at joke shops. Sorry, America.

Also, the Bloomsbury site has updated to say the UK version will have 608 pages. This is because there are no illustrations.

  1. Nagini snowglobe shall play “Greensleeves”. It will be lovely.

  2. Umm maybe it’s kreachen… krachet… kermit… kreacher? WTF is the things name? *worst hp fan ever* Because he appears to be holding harry back… kind of like he doesn’t want H-dawg (he must be more manly) to destroy something that belonged to his mistress.

  3. Kreacher

i can’t wait to read this, but i think the childrens version looks wierd. I like the adult version…there’s more mystery

  4. If they’re in a gringotts vault, maybe the thing on Harry’s back is a Goblin…that would make more sense to me than dobby with a sword…

  5. Ive read it and it is a goblin ^^ i wont spoil it though, but it is an awesome book! loved it, and so will you! i bought the adult UK edition cos the kid’s one looks really childish
